About

My story begins in the mountain mists of Sat Chauk

a small village in the Kanpetlet Township of Chin State. Born on October 25, 1991, I was cradled in a home defined by the Gospel; my father was a tireless evangelist who carried the light of Christ into some of Myanmar’s most remote corners.

In 1999, our family accepted a daunting yet divine assignment: moving to the Buddhist-dominant town of Kanpetlet to serve as missionaries.

The year 2000 marked our arrival in a new mission field, but 2006 brought a winter to my soul when my mother passed away. In the wake of that profound loss, the Lord became my sustainer. Against all odds and through many tears, I persevered to pass my matriculation in 2009—a milestone that opened the door to a lifetime of theological scholarship.

My pursuit of God’s truth took me across borders to India, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Theology from the Baptist Bible College & Seminary in Kerala, India (2013). Driven by a hunger to better serve my people, I returned to Yangon to earn my Master of Divinity in 2016. For years, I had the privilege of shaping the next generation of leaders as a lecturer at Peniel Theological Seminary, but the Lord was preparing me for a different kind of classroom—one without walls.

“God must have a plan for why you could not enter the USA after arriving at Chicago International Airport in April 2017. God has given you much. You must use what you have to bless your country.”

Pastor Gaylord

These words stirred within me the question of what God desired me to do in Myanmar with the resources He had entrusted to me. Then, in 2018, God whispered a new vision into my heart. It was a call to the fatherless and the forgotten.

I received an explicit confirmation from the Lord: to begin a children’s ministry.

This ministry—later established as Victoria Empowerment Foundation—was created to serve children from families suffering from chronic poverty and famine, providing them with holistic care and education for a brighter and more prosperous future.

On March 2, 2019, even before I had a home of my own through marriage, I opened my doors to 40 children from families crushed by poverty. This was the birth of my life’s work.

This vision expanded to include humanitarian outreach, support for pastors, and community development initiatives—all rooted in God’s love and provision.

While my ministry grew, God also blessed my personal life. In 2021, I married my partner in faith, Seng Nu, and today our lives are filled with the joy of our three-year-old son, Isaac.

My heart has always beat for the preservation of my people’s identity through the Word of God.

Since 2016, I have poured my soul into the Daa Yindu Bible translation, serving as a volunteer for my vernacular language. My leadership journey further expanded as a SALT facilitator and the Chin State Director from 2019 to 2021.

Today, as the Founder and Director of Calvary Bible Translation Ministry and the national program manager of Wycliffe Associates, I stand at the intersection of scholarship and social action. My life is a testament to the fact that God uses our deepest trials—the loss of a mother, the challenges of a minority faith, and the instability of a nation—to forge a vessel for His glory. I am not just a leader; I am a son of Myanmar, dedicated to ensuring that every child has a future and every tribe hears the Gospel in the language of their heart.
